Dr. Leo Baccaro on Liposuction + Renuvion

Video Transcript – Dr. Leo Baccaro on Liposuction + Renuvion

Hi, I’m Dr. Baccaro, and today I wanted to talk to you about liposuction with Renuvion, skin, and soft tissue tightening. When deciding on whether a patient is a good candidate for liposuction or not, we have to assess the skin quality. If the skin quality is very good, that skin will contract and contour around the area where you perform the liposuction and removed fat.

However, there are some patients that have a little bit more laxity of the skin. If the laxity is too much, you have to remove that skin in procedures such as the tummy tuck. But in people who are sort of in between, who don’t have the laxity necessary to perform a tummy tuck but have some laxity of the skin, Renuvion may be an excellent choice for you. Because after liposuction, it can be used to cause controlled heating or a controlled burn of the underlying tissues and help stimulate contraction of the soft tissue and the skin and produce collagen over a period of about six months. That way, you can achieve nice contours to the abdomen after liposuction and ensure that you get the most amount of soft tissue contraction and skin contraction possible to really get you to the goals you’re looking for.

So, if you’re looking to have liposuction with Renuvion, feel free to consult with some of our surgeons here at Naples Plastic Surgery, as many of us offer the procedure and we can help you determine if liposuction with Renuvion is the appropriate procedure for you.
