Plastic Surgery Recovery Nurse Having your post-op plans arranged prior to surgery is just as important as your pre-op plans. Some patients can have the misconception that ‘plastic’ or ‘cosmetic’ surgery isn’t as serious as ‘real surgery.’ We strive to educate and inform our patients that this is true surgery and having your post-op needs met is very important to your overall physical and mental health.
Florida First Choice Nursing, Inc. is a concierge nursing service owned and operated by a patient of our practice. Olivia knows firsthand what level of care and service our doctors expect post-surgery. We recommend 24 hours of immediate post-operative care. This will include a pre-surgery meeting or phone call and access to Olivia for any questions after this 24-hour period. Besides helping with your immediate recovery needs, she is happy to help with light meal prep and tidying up.
Dr. Gardner, Dr. Baccaro, Dr. Walsh, and Dr. Bonett highly recommend using her services. It can be very overwhelming to see your loved one immediately post-surgery and be their sole caretaker.
