Vectra 3D Imaging (Before and After Imaging)
Naples Plastic Surgery
With its realistic 3D aesthetic simulation tools, Vectra 3D imaging demonstrates the outcome of both surgical and non-surgical procedures. Vectra 3D Imaging can be used to showcase the potential outcome of breast augmentation, breast lifts, body contouring, rhinoplasty, chin augmentations, and more.
This technology has moved beyond traditional photo manipulation and photography and allows both surgeon and patient to visualize how the procedure can look from every angle. At Gardner Plastic Surgery, this 3D imaging has dramatically improved pre-procedure planning and analysis between plastic surgeon and patient.
Vectra 3D Aesthetic Simulation Process
Vectra 3D Images - The simulation is developed using multiple pictures taken of the body or facial features. These images will be the starting point for your plastic surgery consultation.
Simulation Software - Using the Vectra simulation software, Dr. Gardner will display the expected results of your cosmetic procedure. You may decide to fine-tune or hone aspects of the simulation to fit your exact goals or expectations.
What is Vectra 3D?
Canfield Imaging Systems developed the Vectra 3D simulation technology and sculptor software to help doctors better serve their patients. Vectra 3D serves both doctor and patient by improving communication and better informing the patients and recipients of cosmetic and plastic surgery of their expected outcome.
How does Vectra 3D Work?
The camera captures three dimensional photographs of patients from several directions simultaneously. The software then builds three dimensional models of the patient to replicate their current appearance and provide a benchmark of their appearance prior to any cosmetic procedures. Following the creation of the original 3D image, the Sculptor software has tools which mold the image into the expected outcome of the procedure, whether that is for a facelift, rhinoplasty, or breast augmentation. The Sculptor software provides a realistic 3D image that can be honed and fine-tuned to your specifications and goals.
Vectra 3D Imaging simulations will be similar to actual results provided by Dr. Gardner, although not exactly the same. The simulations created are based on the surgical techniques that Dr. Gardner will utilize during surgery.
