Concerned about bruising?
We now have "Needle-less Injectables"
One of the top concerns we hear from our patients is about post-injectable bruising and swelling. Although these side effects sometimes cannot be completely prevented, there are ways to avoid unnecessary discomfort.
First, we now have what we call a 'blunt tip cannula,' which can be used in place of a needle.
It is believed the benefits are ability to inject large volumes with less trauma; reduced risk of injecting into arteries or vessels and reduced injection related edema and bruising.
It is also important to stop taking any aspirin or ibuprofen before coming in for your treatment, as they are blood thinners.
We also carry some preventative products for patients who would like to avoid bruising and swelling at all costs! We have an "Anti-Bruising Kit" which contains oral and topical forms of Homeopathic Arnica Montana to reduce bruising from the inside and out.
